  • Arizona - Currently only one state park, Lyman Lake State Park, offers cabins and yurts for rent
  • Arkansas - Mountaintop hideaways with cloud-capped lodges, lakeshore cabins with cozy fireplaces, waterfront campsites along the famous White River, an island lodge with full resort amenities including golf, and more…
  • California - California State Parks provides some of the best camping in California. Each park offers a different experience including walk-in environmental sites, full RV hook-ups, cabins, and even floating campsites.  Many campgrounds fill-up seven months ahead so plan in advance.   First-come first-served sites are available at some parks

  • Connecticut - Campsites in the state parks but not an option in the wintertime.
  • Delaware - Camping options abound in the state including campsites, cabins and yurts.
  • Florida - Cabins or campsites, it is your choice in Florida
  • Georgia - Cottage, lodges and campsites are among your options in Georgia.
  • Hawaii - A frame shelters, cabins and campsites are all options. When you click over scoll down for all of the info.
  • Idaho - Choose from cabins, yurts or campgrounds.
  • Illinois - Rent-a-camp program allows you to choose a tent or cabin for your accommodations. If want just campground info click here.
  • Indiana - Inns or campgrounds, it is your choice.
  • Iowa - Choose from cabins, shelters & yurts, lodges or campgrounds.
  • Kansas - A listing of parks in the state. They have campsites only, no lodges or cabins for rent.

  • Louisiana - Campgrounds, RV Parks and Cabins all over the state to select from.
  • Maine - Campground reservations or sport camps if you like to stay busy.
  • Maryland - More than 2,000 campsites, 120 full-service and camper cabins and 100 picnic shelters to choose from in this state.
  • Massachusetts - Camping and cabin options, some of which are open year-round.
  • Michigan - Options here include cabins, teepees, mini-cabins and campgrounds.
  • Minnesota - Camping in the state parks, lodges/cabins and more are available.

  • New Mexico - You can make reservations within 90 days of arrival at 28 of the 31 state parks in New Mexico.
  • New York - Go camping but not in downtown NYC. Search by state park.
  • Nevada - How about houseboat rentals? Well you can in Nevada. Otherwise campgrounds are available at most of the state parks.
  • North Carolina - In North Carolina you can choose from campsite, canoe-in campsite, family cabin or group campsites.
  • North Dakota - Over 1,400 campsites to select from

  • Oklahoma - 14 different state parks in Oklahoma offer cabins for rent
  • Oregon - Lots of options in Oregon - Yurts, Cabins, Wagons, Tepees or just a campground.
  • Pennsylvania - Cabins, hostels and camping are offered including group tents for larger groups
  • Rhode Island - A listing of the state parks, some of which allow camping.
  • South Carolina - Cabins and campsites are both available in South Carolina.

  • Texas - 37 state parks offer some type of indoor overnight accommodations to suit any taste.
  • Utah - Utah state parks visitors will find more than 2,000 campsites ranging from primitive to plush.
  • Vermont - Choose from tent, lean-to or campsites.
  • Virginia - Both cabins and campsites are available in Virginia
  • Washington - Lots of options here including Vacation Homes, Fort Worden, Hyak Lodge plus Cabin, Yurts and Platform Tents.
